Using Smart Codes
Smart Codes such as this one (supplied by QMCODES - thanks Antony!):

allow you to use your mobile phone camera to link you directly to an m-site, (providing you have off-deck browsing activated on your phone of course). In effect, it makes print media interactive allowing an ad or even an editorial piece to provide deeper background on a handset, and of course track that interaction too.
What you need:
- A Smart Code reader application on your phone
- e.g. the i-Nigma reader, or
- the Kaywa reader, or
- a Nokia N-series phone with the ‘Barcode’ reader application
(often placed inside the ‘Office’ folder).
What you do:
- Run your Smart Code reader application
- Take a photo of the Smart Code
- What while the reader does its decode
- Click ‘go’ (or similar) when it displays a URL
- Enjoy the m-site.
What you get:
If you use the Smart Code above, here’s a picture of what you should get on your phone’s browser:

Its a much simpler way of entering complex URLs into a phone, and because it uses the consumer’s own phone camera, it should also make visiting m-sites a more human-friendly process - just take a picture.
